A while ago I decided to start writing Haikus. I think it was prompted by the feeling that I was lacking regular space to allow the creative juices to flow – a daily play practice.
These spaces of play and flow feel intrinsically satisfying, rich with magic and the thrill of being alive, which if I’m not careful can get squeezed out or become buried under a mountain of useless thought and administrative debris.
So here I am, once again starting with the basics, rediscovering where I can squeeze the life back in! Places where I can be Inspiration led and for Spirit shine through.
Where can you squeeze the life back in?
Where do you Play each day?
What is the form for the Formless to be received in your life?
Here’s the Haiku from yesterday that prompted this post.
Brush strokes of Being lead,
Fundamental and Empty,
Emergency heal.
A daily play practice
I’m really seeing the benefits of a play practice. A space where you can let go and enjoy the thrill of life expressing itself through you. I’m in awe when I let go and give myself this gift.
And like other things that take care of my well-being, such as exercise, the benefits far outweigh the small amount of time that it occupies in my busy day.
It adds to my joy in life and, in fact, adding to my creativity and even productivity in other areas of my life!

Wishing you wonder, creativity, joy, and fun of course!
