Live your Best Life – Align to the Divine Mind

Not a Separate God

What would it be like to live aligned to the Divine Mind?

Let me define God first, because I know some of you will stop reading at the mere mention of the word! But it is a just a word after all. So, let’s not fight over it or what it’s pointing to!

I’m not talking about a separate God. But rather what I mean by God is the whole of existence and the unfolding process of the Universe. That intelligence which has created everything including you and I, from the small to the humongous. This reality in which we are immersed and are an intrinsic part.

That God!

Not some external entity, ruling from above, but existence itself with its innate intelligence that resides and expresses itself through and in all things.

What are we up to?

You might ask what on earth is IT, or rather WE up to?

Why all of this, and what’s our place in it?

How is it that this existence has in fact, developed human beings who can contemplate not only their own existence but that of all reality?

It’s like out of nothing came something which can see and experience itself.

This Universe is alive and sentient, and it is emerging into self awareness. It has grown the eyes to see itself.

You are not, however, an isolated eyeball, viewing a separate reality. You are in fact, a perspective and participant in the whole unfolding process.

And since there is effectively no separation in this one Universal process, you are slowly recognising that your body is in fact the whole known Universe, all of existence.

You are the One consciousness having an experience of Itself from a particular perspective.

Researching for this article, I found that the ideas above were reflected in the thinking of Plato. He claimed that the Universe is a Living Thing which is eternal, perfect, infinite, and intelligent, saying that all embodied forms are part of the Living Thing. In fact, it encompasses them and understands them.

Plato believed in a conscious, aware universe, and this is just of the type of Universe being discovered by science today.

What does it matter?

How is this relevant to you and your existence?

Well, it matters because you are an intrinsic part of the Universe. You are in fact, the intelligence of the Universe in expression. And realising that allows you to tap into that power to create your life.

The best life you can create is one which is aligned with the Intelligence of Divine Mind, and in harmony with its Universal Laws, where mind and matter are intimately connected.

What is its Will?

At core, I believe part of our purpose is to realise that mind and matter are one. We are pure Divine Consciousness, creating through Thought.

Furthermore, when we attune to Divine Mind we start to be the full expression of ourselves on the material plane. We start to activate our creative potential and bring forth our gifts for the world.

I believe that we are moving towards Awareness of Unity in Diversity, creating more complex forms, which know themselves to be part of a Whole. We are waking up to who we truly are.

Actually, the word Universe might present us with a clue, which originates from the Latin word “universum,” it combines “uni-” meaning “one” or “whole,” and “versum,” which means “turned” or “to turn.” So, the literal meaning of “universe” is “turned into one” or “turned into a whole.”

Or more literally, uni-verse, one “verse” or “story” – knowing ourselves as part of one unfolding story, suggesting the notion of everything being united or encompassed within a single entity or system.

So we’re, quite literally, in a story of realising this oneness, just as we are beginning to realise that we are a part of the living organism of the Earth, not separate from it.

Where we find ourselves

The consciousness that most of us currently inhabit is the mind of separation, with its consequences and resulting experience of reality. We mostly live in ignorance of the Unity of the Universe, as seen by the way we treat each other and the planet.

What if we were to move from the mind of separation (ego personality) to the Divine Mind (the unity identified mind)?

What would that be like?

A glimpse of Unity

What would it look like to live in this greater mind of Unity Consciousness, understanding that “All is One”?

We’d see the inherent interconnectedness of all beings and phenomena, and prioritise actions and decisions that acknowledge and honour that.

There would be an arising of compassion and empathy towards others. We’d seek to alleviate suffering and promote well-being for all.

We’d embrace the diversity of life and recognise that each being has inherent value and contributes to the richness of the whole. Not only that, but we would value inclusivity, diversity, and respect for differences.

Acknowledging that humans are part of the natural world and dependent on its ecosystems for survival, we’d prioritise living in harmony with nature, promoting sustainability, and respecting the balance of the environment.

We’d understand that harming others ultimately harms oneself. We would strive for non-violence in thought, word, and action, seeking peaceful resolutions to conflicts and promote a culture of peace.

Recognising that individual well-being is inseparable from the well-being of the whole, we would be in service and contribution to the greater good.

Seeing the oneness of all things, I think a natural deep sense of gratitude would arise for the abundance present in our lives.

We would live an inspired life, attuned to the emerging process, living the magical adventure of becoming.

We would see how our Thoughts create our reality. Being in our creative power, we would know how we create, and we would do so consciously.

We would experience joy, peace and gratitude, at observing our unfolding creation.

Perhaps the experience would be like the drop, falling back into the ocean and realising that it has been ocean all along!

From Separation to Oneness

Perhaps the mind of Unity is not so far from us. It can’t be, since we are in fact IT.

It is within us, I believe when we are present as the Observer, without judgement, we are in the mind of Unity.

As Awareness itself, we can experience Oneness. As an Experiencer of experiences, for moments, in which there is no judgement or separate identity. Everything is just seen.

Is it possible to be in the details of your experience and also know that you are the Mind from which it all come forth, thus aware of both the manifest and unmanifest, identifying not only with the material but also the creating principle?

From this place, the ego personality is seen and dissolved or at least is transparent, known for its mind-made nature.

Intuition – personalised Divine Mind

Rest in the silent witness of the Observer, the one that sees the personality but is not automatically driven by it. This is a radical act of trust, one of surrendering our control to the will and mind of God.

It is living in meditation, becoming the Witness that sees all with compassion. It is to live life lucidly, where you let go of overthinking and let the part of you that is more whole do the thinking for you.

When you stop talking (in your head) all the time, allowing some space between your thoughts, you start to hear a greater mind.

I believe what we call our Intuition is just that, the Divine Mind, which is aware of the Oneness, but is perfectly curated for our personal existence. This mind has the perfect information for you, for this moment.

We don’t need to know everything to embark on this journey to wholeness. In fact, you can’t really know. Intuition reveals on a need to know basis, moment by moment. You don’t want know how the movie ends. That would be a spoiler, distracting from your enjoyment, but you can train to tune into your Intuition.

Enjoy the Ride

We’re here to live the magical adventure, trusting in the unfolding of Universal Divine Mind.

Following our Intuition allows us to ground in serenity, to trust and to live in magic.

Living attuned to this greater Mind prioritises, love, compassion, and harmony with all beings and phenomena

So, listen to the voice in the Silence of your heart, that quiet voice, which is the voice of God.

Speak its truth and act on it!

You’ll be amazed at the adventure it leads you on, beyond even your wildest dreams.
