More Beautiful Work
In addition to the Manifesto for More Beautiful Work, I wrote these principles as an additional guide on our journey.
There are 21 statements and brief descriptions which are pointers to doing “More Beautiful Work” for a “More Beautiful World”!
Some of them overlap, but I decided to go with the 21, since some of them might speak to you more directly others.
Principles of Regenerative Work
1. Do the work before you get the job.
Action builds identity. Identity creates opportunity.
2. Cultivate harmony within and around you.
Inner coherence shapes outer impact.
3. Regenerate yourself and the world—together.
You evolve by contributing, and you can only contribute if you’re evolving.
Alignment & Inner Work
4. Begin with the inner shift — clarity before strategy.
We act from who we are becoming, not who we were.
5. Work is a practice of healing, for ourselves and for the planet.
As you help restore life, life restores you.
6. Follow what brings you alive — it’s intelligence, not indulgence.
Aliveness is guidance.
7. Grow the self that can hold the work you desire.
Capacity and vision rise together.
Regeneration & Contribution
8. Regenerate what you touch — people, places, systems, yourself.
Leave things a little more whole.
9. Prioritise contribution over consumption.
Contribution is where meaning lives.
10. Serve needs, not noise.
Listen for what the world genuinely longs for.
Wayfinding & Emergence
11. Direction, not destination.
Meaningful work emerges step by step.
12. Walk before you know — clarity lives in movement.
The path appears through participation.
13. Prototype everything.
Small experiments reveal the truth faster than thinking.
Courage & Truth
14. Tell the truth about what you really want.
Honesty is the beginning of all good work.
15. Choose the meaningful over the convenient.
The world needs courage, not compromise.
16. Replace fear with curiosity.
Fear shrinks possibilities; curiosity expands them.
Relationship & Interconnection
17. Work is something we do with the world, not to it.
Collaborate with life.
18. Build work that strengthens relationships.
To Self, between people, between self and Earth, between inner and outer.
19. Let community shape your path.
You don’t find purpose alone — we find it together.
Impact & Meaning
20. Measure success by the quality of impact, not the quantity of output.
Depth over noise.
21. Let your wounds fertilise your gifts.
Struggle → understanding → contribution.
When You’re Ready to Take the Next Step
If you’re feeling the pull toward more meaningful, regenerative work — but you’re not sure of your Direction, how to Navigate, or what might be the Inertia blocking your next step — let’s explore it together.
Book a call, and we’ll look clearly at where you are, what’s calling you, and how to get moving to towards what wants to unfold next in your work and life.
